15 Essential Jazz Etudes e-Book
As a jazz musician, one of the most important things you can do is better understand jazz language. Our Director of Operations, Brent Vaartstra, wrote this e-Book specifically to help you better understand jazz language and how to bring it into your solos! These 15 jazz etudes will help you learn to navigate chord changes, voice-lead, and enhance melodicism in your solos. Each etude is based off of the chord progression to a common jazz standard. The book includes: 15 Etudes, 15 play-alongs, and recordings of each etude. We highly recommend this e-Book to all of our readers! This e-book is available in versions for C Instruments, Upright and Electric Bass, and with Guitar tabs.
