“But Not For Me” is a tune written by the great George Gershwin for the 1930 musical “Girl Crazy”. It was also featured on the 1979 Woody Allen film “Manhattan”.  The tune has been played and recorded by many notable jazz musicians.  This tune is most commonly played in the keys of Eb and F major.  You can also practice our Miles Davis’ solo transcription of But Not for Me.
