This I Dig of You was written by tenor saxophonist Hank Mobley. It was first released on his pivotal 1960 hit record Soul Station. This tune is generally played at quicker tempos. The head features a pedal (F) during the first 4 bars of each A section. The pedal is left out for the blowing. Be sure to check out the original recording! This tune is most commonly played in the key of Bb major.
