“Take The Coltrane” is a tune written by Billy Strayhorn. This tune is best known for being recorded on the famous 1963 record Duke Ellington And John Coltrane. This is an incredible record in which The Duke and Trane join forces and create some incredible music. This record is definitely one to check out if you haven’t yet.

“Take The Coltrane” is a 12 bar blues in F. This is a great one to add to your repertoire of blues heads.
