Remember was written by Irving Berlin in 1925. It has been recorded by greats such as Red Norvo and his Orchestra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, among others. Arguably the most popular recording of this piece comes from Hank Mobley’s 1960 release of Soul Station. His version features some re-harmonization that has become popular amongst jazz musicians. Due to Hank Mobley’s recording, this song is most commonly played in the key of Ab major among instrumentalists.
