Just You, Just Me was written by Jesse Greer for the 1929 musical film Marianne. Lyrics were written by Raymond Klages. This tune has become one of the most renowned standards in jazz and has been played and recorded by many of the greats. Thelonious Monk did a controfact of this song entitled Evidence. This is an important one to add to your repertoire! It is most commonly played in the key of Eb major.
