I Should Care appeared in the movie “Thrill of a Romance” in 1945. The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra played recorded the tune for the original movie. “I Should Care” is a really tasty standard, and it isn’t overdone. Alex Stordahl, Paul Weston, and Sammy Cahn wrote the tune, which was published in 1944. Most common key for this jazz standard is C Major.
