“Footprints” is a tune written by the great saxophonist Wayne Shorter. It first appeared on his 1966 record “Adams Apple”. This tune has become a very popular standard and is a mandatory tune for jam sessions and working. Be sure to check out the bass line on the original recording, which is an important part of the tune. This tune is most commonly played in C minor.
