“Confirmation” is a bebop tune written by the great alto saxophonist Charlie Parker. It has a considerably difficult head but a nice set of changes to blow over. This is a very common jam session tune and is definitely worth learning. It is most commonly played in the key of F major.

Hi Just hear very attentivly the solo of Mr. Potter. I’ve heard a considerable amount of false notes (not exactly imagined before playing by the artist) and be sure I know playing. (Practicing Jazz for about 30 years). So you see, even high cats are blowing sometimes real bullshit when trieing to combine modern lines with old fashioned ones!
So no fear just try out when improvising, failure is common. Nobody is perfect!
