Sometime learning “licks” or small musical ideas over just one chord can be a great practice. Learning licks over chord progressions is great, but breaking it down even further can be helpful in and of itself.

In this video I teach you an easy dominant 7th chord lick that you can practice today. Take it even further by bringing it into different keys. Happy practicing!
