“Blue In Green” is a ballad allegedly written by Miles Davis for his famous hit record “Kind of Blue”. Though Miles has been given credit for the tune, it has long been speculated that pianist Bill Evans actually wrote the tune. Miles claims in his auto-biography that he wrote all of the tunes on Kind Of Blue; however, Bill Evans admitted later on that he actually wrote Blue in Green.
“Blue in Green” has an irregular 16-bar form with a coda ending repeating the first three chords of the tune.
