First of all,I would like to thank you for this valuable musical and historical resource.I learned a lot from this,and would be recommending this site to my colleagues.
St. Thomas,although it does have a hint of Latin,is more (in my humble opinion)influenced by Calypso Music(a music born in the twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago,but is sometimes used to represent all of the Caribbean),it’s a favorite among Jazz enthusiasts in the Caribbean as all can identify with it’s infectious Calypso influence,it’s also a must have in the repertoire of any Calypso/Jazz fusion band here in Trinidad & Tobago.
Once again,thank you for dedicating your time and knowledge(the research for this site couldn’t have been easy),your site can provide us here with an insight we could use as augmentation,please continue to do so,i would be looking at this with quite and keen interest.
