This is the first of a 2 week series on the blues. Learning the blues in all 12 keys is ESSENTIAL for the jazz musician. We are going to take the blues throughout all 12 keys, and also I’ll give a list of blues tunes. I’m not going to post as many youtube videos for this series as I normally do.

I’ve structured the play along to be 2 choruses of regular blues changes (jazz blues), and then it switches to Blues for Alice changes for the last 2 choruses for some variety. Sometimes cats will do that when they are improvising to mix things up a bit.
